    Word360 is one of the UK's leading interpreting and translation service providers. We are currently building a pool of skilled, passionate, and reliable interpreters in anticipation of a new client contract due to commence towards the end of the year.
    This is an Expression of Interest opportunity designed to help us identify interpreters who may be suitable for future assignments once service requirements have been confirmed.

     

    Important Information

    Please note:

    • This is not an active vacancy with immediate work available.
    • We are currently gathering applications from interpreters interested in future opportunities within North East London.
    • Applications will be reviewed and held on file while client requirements are finalised.
    • We currently anticipate that onboarding activities may begin from mid-October onwards, although timelines are subject to change based on client requirements.
    • Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview, onboarding process, or work opportunities.
    • Suitable applicants may be contacted closer to the contract start date should relevant opportunities become available.
    • The role is expected to involve travel throughout North East London and surrounding areas.

    What you'll be doing

    As a face-to-face interpreter, you will deliver vital language interpretation services to a range of organisations, particularly within the Health and Social Care sectors.
    Your assignments may include supporting individuals accessing services through the NHS, local councils, charities, and private businesses.

    You will play a key role in breaking down communication barriers, ensuring that every person has access to the services and support they need.

    What we're looking for

    Essential Skills and Attributes:

    • Excellent communication skills in both English and additional language
    • Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple assignments
    • Professionalism and enthusiasm, with a respectful and empathetic approach
    • Confidence interpreting across various environments (medical, social care, and community-based settings)
    • Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child and Adult Workforce, with both Barred Lists) If you do not already hold one, we can assist you in completing your DBS application
    • Eligibility for self-employment in the UK

    ***Please note: This is a self-employed position, and you’ll be responsible for your own tax registration with HMRC.***
