Main Purpose of Job
We are looking for a motivated and proactive experienced Recruitment Team Leader to oversee our recruitment team and drive continuous improvement. In this role, you will lead and support a small team while managing the full recruitment cycle for freelance linguists, ensuring we always have the right talent in place to meet business needs. Responsibilities and Duties
- Drive and oversee end-to-end recruitment operations, optimizing processes for maximum efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Lead compliance initiatives, conducting regular audits of linguist records to uphold internal policies and industry standards.
- Strategically source, assess, and onboard freelance linguists to meet current demands and support future growth.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for the recruitment team to deliver business-critical objectives.
- Analyse recruitment performance metrics, delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Represent Word360 at industry forums, job fairs, and professional events to strengthen employer branding and talent pipelines.
- Develop and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top-tier linguists.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the Interpreting team to align recruitment strategy with operational language requirements.
- Partner with Marketing to drive targeted campaigns and leverage digital platforms for strategic recruitment initiatives.
Skills and Attributes Required
- Team Leadership: Ability to support, motivate, and develop a team.
- Recruitment Expertise: Strong knowledge of the end-to-end recruitment process, particularly for freelancers/contractors.
- Communication: Confident communicator, skilled at building relationships with candidates, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Industry Knowledge: Awareness of interpreting/language services and compliance requirements (e.g., right to work checks, qualifications).
- Analytical Thinking: Comfortable using data to track progress and improve performance.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
- Customer Focus: Works collaboratively with service delivery teams to align recruitment with client needs.
